Helen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Faiss Foley Warren in the area of government affairs. A fourth generation Nevadan, she has been active in politics since birth. A former staff member for the U.S. Senate Rules Committee, Helen also held the record for being the youngest woman ever elected to serve in the Nevada State Senate where she served from 1982 – 1986. She previously was elected to the Nevada Assembly for a two year term.

In 1991, she joined Linda Faiss and Melissa Warren at DRGM Advertising and Public Relations and in 1998 they formed their own company which has grown to a staff of 10. Many of the clients they serve have been with them for more than a decade.

A UNLV graduate in Political Science, Helen has been a government affairs advocate since 1987 at the city, county and state levels in Nevada. Her clients include Pardee Homes of Nevada, the Southern Nevada Water Authority, T-Mobile USA, Boys and Girls Clubs Alliance of Nevada, Nevadans for Affordable Healthcare, United Coin Machine Company, the Nevada Association of Marriage & Family Therapists, National Association of Professional Employer Organizations and other firms in Nevada. She also represents Catholic Charities Adoption Services as a pro-bono client.

In 2007, Helen was honored to be inducted into the Nevada Lobbyist Hall of Fame. She was named as one of Southern Nevada’s Most Outstanding Businesswomen of 2002 by In Business Magazine and received the Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas Hometown Hero Award in 2006. She is also a Junior League of Las Vegas Heart of Gold recipient.

Helen served on the production team as a scriptwriter at the Democratic National Convention for every National Convention from 1988 through 2004. She was also an original member of the Barack Obama Steering Committee in Nevada beginning in June 2007.

She is the mother of two children, Grace, age 9, and William, 8, and serves as president of the St. Anne Catholic School Board.
