Marsha MacEachern made the cross country move from her hometown of Boston to Las Vegas in 2011 to serve Faiss Foley Warren PR & Government Affairs as social media director and video producer.
Her previous experience includes working at The Ad Club of Boston, as well as a communications specialist and PR manager for Brandeis University and Avid Technology. She has also served as a one-man-band TV reporter/anchor for Worcester News Tonight, which is produced by New England Cable News (NECN) and Charter Communications in Massachusetts, and as a news reporter/anchor and weather anchor at WAGM-TV in Presque Isle, Maine. While in graduate school, she worked as a news website producer for NECN and did some freelance work in print journalism.
She is the recipient of ‘platinum’ and ‘gold’ AVA awards for video production, as well as a Maine Association of Broadcaster’s Award and a SPJ Mark of Excellence Award. She was also a finalist in the 2011 New England Mountain Bike Film Festival for her short film “A Biker’s Playground.”
She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Emerson College in Boston, Mass. On the side she has served on Emerson’s alumni board as the young alumni chair for the past five years, and currently sits on Emerson’s nationwide GOLD council. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering for the American Heart Association, acting, running, volleyball and softball.
