Melissa began her career in Salt Lake City, Utah, after graduating with honors from the University of Utah with a B.S. in public relations and advertising. For eight years, she served as assistant vice president of marketing for American Savings & Loan, a $1.5 billion financial institution operating in three states.
Upon moving to Las Vegas in 1990, Melissa joined DRGM Advertising and Public Relations. Now, as managing partner of Faiss Foley Warren, one of the state’s largest independent public relations and government affairs firms founded in 1998, Melissa has helped the firm develop particular expertise in real estate development, luxury retail and corporate communications. FFW’s long-term, blue-chip clients, many of them leaders within their respective industries, underscore the firm’s reputation for excellence and results-oriented public relations.

Many of the programs, events and traditions that exist in Summerlin today are a direct result of her creativity and vision.
