For more than a decade, she has actively overseen public relations efforts for The Howard Hughes Corporation, an affiliate of General Growth Properties, Inc., and one of the largest projects in its impressive portfolio – the master-planned community of Summerlin. Melissa also oversees public relations efforts for GGP’s retail portfolio in Las Vegas, which includes nearly 5 million square feet of retail space, including Fashion Show, The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian, The Shoppes at The Palazzo, Summerlin Centre, Meadows Mall and the Boulevard Mall. In addition, she consults with Newland Communities and the City of Las Vegas on Union Park, the 61-acre mixed-use project that is changing the face of downtown Las Vegas.
