Legislative and State Relations
- Introducing company officials to legislators and legislative staff
- Developing relationships with the Governor, staff and key regulators
- Developing positions on legislative issues
- Arranging face-to-face encounters for our clients with key regulators and department heads
- Drafting legislation and finding sponsors to carry legislation
- Lobbying and testifying on legislative bills
- Coordinating all other lobbying activities for clients
- Working closely with legislators, especially those chairing and serving on committees where company’s legislation is referred
- Recommending political contributions and attendance at fundraisers
